The automation transformation and upgrading of traditional processing and manufacturing enterprises is urgent, but how to choose an effective automation method in line with itself is an important manifestation of maximizing value.

    At present, mature automatic stamping production lines mainly include: progressive die stamping, multi-station stamping and series stamping, which can be divided into forward feeding mode (Progressive), multi-station handling mode (Transfer), manipulator mode (Robot) and series connection mode (Tandem) according to the handling mode. The key factors in the selection of stamping automation production line include product material, material thickness, monthly supply and demand, volume and difficulty of stamping products, and the cost of transformation.

    Progressive Die Stamping Production Line (Conveying Mode)

    The more common one is generally composed of an uncoiling feeder, a stamping machine, a progressive die, and an automatic blanking line. Realize the automatic process of uncoiling from the coil, flatter the material belt, oiling the material belt, stamping into parts, and collecting finished parts from the production line.

    It is mostly used in electronic, digital, OA, household appliances and other products, with high production efficiency (generally up to 30 times/min or more), general precision effect and low material utilization rate. Combined with the use of servo machine, can meet the requirements of production efficiency and high precision.

    Multi-station stamping automatic production line

    A production line in which multiple (usually 4~5 pairs of molds) independent station molds are placed on the worktable of a large-tonnage press. The production line uses a stacking hand or an uncoiling feeder to feed materials, uses an automatic feeding rod to transfer process parts, and uses an automatic conveying belt to collect off-line products.

    It is more common in the processing of automobile interior parts, products with higher added value, high material utilization rate and better molding effect. But the speed (SPM) is difficult to reach above 30. At present, the 3D servo multi-station handling system can reach more than SPM60, but few professional manufacturers can do it.

    A plurality of presses are arranged in sequence and connected in series to form an automated production line. A pair of molds (I .e. a process of the production process) are placed on the worktable of each press, and the automatic mechanical arm or robot completes the feeding, transfer of process parts and the blanking and packing.

    Robot type is more common in the production line of large automobile body covering parts. At present, several major automobile manufacturers on the market are using this processing method.

    The mechanical way is more common in products with high added value and high requirements for appearance, such as the following IPAD shell. A variety of combination methods can better meet the higher requirements of the product in the future, and the manipulator method has gradually abandoned the traditional processing method.
